This restaurant was a great experience! Everyone loved their food (including the kids). They had big portions and great prices. The service was quick and attentive.
The food and margaritas are amazing. We went on a Friday and they had live music. I had the Chili Colorado, and it was spicy. I love spice, but this was almost too spicy.
This place is by far the best Mexican restaurant, compared to the ones i went to. Usually, i dont like the refried beans. Always tasteless. But these guys.... The refried beans were amazing. It had FLAVOR! Margaritas are on point. I had the burrito deluxe(add cheese on top) and my wife has the shrimp quesadilla. Both amazing. The ground beef had such a great flavor. These guys/gals know how to make real Mexican food.
We enjoyed a delicious dinner. My husband had a burrito with queso sauce and I had a tostado, taco, rice and beans. Everything was very good. We also enjoyed the chips and salsa. The staff were all very polite and accommodating. Based on our experience, I would highly recommend Rio Grande!
It was delicious!! Our waitress was awesome, she kept checking on us and that's a plus in my book! We didn't catch her name, darn it. We will be back.
Amazing food, always. there are other Mexican restaurants but in my opinion this is the best one for several reasons. the tables are well spaced out, so your not hitting elbows with your neighbor as some are, the place is authentic, The food is all great. And you get a lot of of it. The staff stands around waiting to help you.. and the churros are terrific, 4 controls and huge scoop of ice cream. but forget all that, they serve the best mojitos ever outside the the Open Seas bar on key biscayne beach. all truth, just go here and eat and tell Roberto one of the owners hi, he will be serving you if you sit in the expanded area to the left. they also have outside sitting.
If I could 10 stars then I would! It was so good I had to come back for a second time! I travel with my husband for work and finding a restaurant that I have no complaints about means the world to us! Thank you for another great meal during our visit to Hannible MO! Don't forget to try the raspberry margaritas!! I added som pics of our first visit...
